WELCOME

We are delighted to invite you to the 18th Bryan Warren School of Pathology, taking place on June 27–28, 2026, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with both in-person and virtual attendance options available.

This year, we proudly present a focused exploration of Gastrointestinal Pathology, a field of growing importance and complexity. The school is organized in collaboration with the British Division of the International Academy of Pathology (BDIAP) and the Association of Basic Medical Sciences of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, continuing our tradition of excellence in pathology education.

We are honored to welcome two distinguished keynote speakers: Professor Neil A. Shepherd, Gloucestershire Cellular Pathology Laboratory, UK; Professor Marco Novelli, University College London and HCA Laboratories, UK; and Professor Manuel Rodriguez-Justo, Consultant in Gastrointestinal Pathology and Haematopathology at UCLH and Professor of Pathology at UCL-Cancer Institute. They are internationally recognized experts in gastrointestinal pathology and will share critical updates, diagnostic insights, and practical approaches that promise to enrich your clinical and academic practice.

Whether you’re a seasoned specialist, a resident in training, or a curious student, this event offers a vibrant educational environment designed to inspire and elevate. Join us for two days of learning, networking, and discovery in the heart of Sarajevo – or from the comfort of your own home.

We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be another unforgettable edition of BWSP.
