Dear colleagues and friends,
13th Bryan Warren School Pathology will be held in Sarajevo on November 2-3, 2019 organized jointly by the British Division of the International Academy of Pathology (BDIAP) and the Association of Basic Medical Sciences of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The main topic of the School will be neuropathology, a challenging field in the diagnostic pathology. Each year distinguished pathologists provided by the BDIAP teach at BWSP, and this year we are delighted to host Professor Sebastian Brandner from UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, University College London, UK, and Professor Silvia Marino (Barts and The London School of Medicine, Queen Mary University of London and Barts Health NHS Trust).
The School objectives remain the same as all previous years: to give a brief overview of the most important topics in neuropathology and to cover the practical issues, particularly those relevant for young specialists and residents in pathology as well as for clinicians.
We sincerely hope that the School again shall meet your expectations and it will certainly depend on your active participation.
NEW: Please note that you are welcome to submit a difficult or interesting case in neuropathology (5-7 minutes PowerPoint presentation) and if selected, present it, and discuss with our lecturers and audience. The number of presentations is limited and the authors of the selected ones will be notified on 15 October the latest. The presentations are to be submitted to email@example.com.
THE BEST CASE WILL BE AWARDED A CERTIFICATE AND 50 EUR.
We look forward to meeting you in Sarajevo!
