    2. Privacy

    Visitor statistics

    We use the built-in visitor analytics of Lovable, the platform that hosts this website. It runs only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner; until then no statistics are sent and its cookie is removed.

    • What it collects for each page view: the page address, the referring page, your browser and device type (user agent), your browser language, an approximate country derived from your device's time-zone setting, and the time and duration of the visit.
    • It stores a random session identifier in a cookie called “session-id” that expires after 30 minutes. It does not build visitor profiles, does not track you across other websites and is not linked to your identity.
    • We see only aggregate reports (numbers of visits and page views, traffic sources, pages, countries and device types).

    Strictly necessary storage

    • Your cookie choice is saved in your browser's local storage (“bp-cookie-consent”) until you change it or clear your browser data.
    • The hosting provider sets short-lived technical cookies for security and delivery (“__cf_bm”, bot protection, 30 minutes; “__dpl”, site version routing, up to 1 day).
    • The hosting provider also records technical page-load and error reports (page address, browser, error details) without cookies, to keep the site working.

    Third-party content

    Citation badges on the founders' CV pages are provided by Dimensions (Digital Science). Their badge script is loaded only on those two pages, so when you open one of them Dimensions receives your IP address and the address of that page.

    Accounts and e-mail

    This website has no user accounts and no forms. If you write to us by e-mail, your message and address are kept only as long as needed to answer your enquiry.

    Your rights

    You may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Send your request to office@bosnianpathology.org.

    3. Second opinions and consultations

    • Reports, slides and paraffin blocks are accepted only by prior agreement by e-mail.
    • They are handled by the consulting pathologist under medical confidentiality.
    • Material is used solely for the requested opinion and is returned to the sender or to the originating laboratory after reporting.
    • The written opinion is sent only to the person who requested it.
    • No patient material or data is stored on this website.
